Fraud warning

Our company takes every piece of information and every suspicion connected to fraudulent activity seriously. From time to time we identify companies that use our name, or names similar to ours, without permission. This can cause confusion and spread false information about our company and its services, so we publish this warning and keep it current.

Why this notice exists

Cerfina is a known brand in automated trading, and known brands get cloned. Fraudsters copy websites, logos and even staff names to borrow credibility that is not theirs. Publishing a clear, honest description of how we actually operate is the most reliable defence, because clones find specifics hard to fake over time.

What we know about

We are aware of cases where our name and the personal details of real people have been misused for fraudulent purposes, in ways we cannot influence or control. While we sincerely regret the losses suffered by anyone affected, our company is not liable for fraudulent transactions carried out in our name by parties outside the company.

Clone firms

A clone firm imitates a legitimate business: the same name, a similar logo, sometimes a website that differs from the original by a single character in the address. If you suspect you are dealing with a clone using the Cerfina brand, name or logo, do not share personal information with them and notify us immediately by email at [email protected]. We continuously work to identify clone operations, and we emphasise that some may remain undetected for a period of time.

Customers should always verify the legitimacy of any company they interact with online before sharing personal data or beginning any business relationship. Check the domain character by character, type our address into the browser yourself rather than following a link from a message, and be suspicious of any site or person whose contact details differ from the ones published on this page.

What Cerfina will never do

We will never ask for your password, a code from your authenticator app, or remote access to your device. We will never ask you to move your money to a "safe account", a phrase that only exists in fraud scripts. We will never pressure you to deposit more than you planned, promise a specific return to encourage a deposit, or contact you through personal messaging accounts or social media profiles that are not listed on this page.

Our genuine channels are simple: this website, the dashboard inside it once you have an account, and the support email address shown in the footer of every page. Anything else that claims to be us deserves a second look.

Warning signs worth acting on

Urgency is the common thread in almost every scam: act today, the offer closes tonight, the market window is now. Reputable businesses survive you taking a day to think. Another thread is unusual payment routes: gift cards, crypto transfers to personal addresses, or cash couriers are not how regulated services accept deposits. A third is secrecy: anyone asking you to hide a conversation from family or from your bank is not protecting you.

If a message or call mentioning Cerfina raises any doubt, stop and write to us from the address on this page. A genuine enquiry costs you a minute; a fake one can cost considerably more. Reports also help us warn other users, and we treat every report as confidential.

If you have already paid

Contact your bank or card provider immediately and ask about their fraud procedures, including the possibility of recalling a payment. Report the matter to Action Fraud, the UK's national fraud reporting service, and to us with every detail you have: addresses, phone numbers, account details and copies of correspondence. Speed matters most in the first hours, so make those calls before doing anything else.

We will cooperate fully with any investigation, provide what records we hold about attempts to misuse our brand, and support your bank's enquiries where we legally can.

Stay alert: fraudsters adapt. This page describes the patterns we know about today, but the strongest protection is your own habit of verifying before trusting, every time, even with a name you recognise.
